Problem with dual on toilet help please?

I had to have a dual buton flush loo put into my house when building a couple of years ago. Problem I don't know how to adjust the water level in the cistern. I know that they are designed to conserve water, but is there a way to adjust the level of water in the cistern? Thanks :-)
