Blood parrot cichlid and silver dollar tetra trouble?

I just introduced a blood parrot cichlid with my 2 silver dollar tetras and 2 bala sharks. after a couple hours i noticed that the cichlid bit off parts of the silver dollars' fin. i quarantined the cichlid an now the silver dollars look at peace. will they be ok? if they get infected from loss of fins will it affect the other fish?
