Have you ever considered that so called Christianity today borrowed from Greek Philosophy?
This should be no surprise at all. The eastern part of the Roman empire, pretty much anything to the right of Italy, was the remnant of the Grecian empire; Greek was widely spoken and understood. "In the fullness of time, God sent His Son..." into the Greek philosophical milieu, into the religion of Judaism, into the very crossroads of civilization. Christianity was ingeniously expressed in the prevailing philosophy so that it could be understood and accepted. It doesn't mean that the doctrines were altered, but that the doctrines were expressed in terms understandable in the times.
