Is there research which would indicate what percentage of filed doents are never looked at again.?

This website (http://www.shirleyfinelee.com/MgmtStats.htm) says 75-85 % of filed doents are never looked at again. The problem is it is not sourced, and so I have no idea if it is a made up statistic or if there is any real research to back it up.
